Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Access to console specific forums for team member

I would like to know how to get access to the console specific forums for a team member. I've recently sent requests to the Epic Games help desk and in the past, the response has been within a day but the current request(s) have not been answered yet. Is there a new way to gain access to the forums? It's been over a week since I put the request in and with no response, it's starting to affect our development.

Please have your team member complete the Console Development Request for UE4 form: http://epicgames.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2313998-how-do-i-get-access-to-ue4-console-source-code-?b_id=9727

Once verified, access will be enabled to the appropriate console forum boards.

Hi Palomino_S,

I have previously completed this form for the company I work for. In the past, I spoke with a representative in the Billing area that was able to grant access to additional members but that avenue of support seems to have had no response over the last week.

The link you've provided requires the team member to fill in all the NDA details which the company I work for have already done. The company that I work for has already completed all the relevant documentation for the legal side, i.e. NDA, various console developer statuses etc. Do we need to go through this process for every new team member we want to add?

This issue has been resolved via the private support request now. How do I close/resolve this question?
