Crack Free Tessellation not working on landscapes.

So I found this issue from a year ago: Crack free tessellation not working with landscapecoords - Rendering - Epic Developer Community Forums, outlining the same issue I’m currently facing in 4.19.

Using a material with ‘Crack Free Tessellation’ on a landscape causes the material to be flattened, showing no tessellation at all. Is this an issue for a reason (ie. am I doing something wrong)? Or is it an issue that keeps cropping up?

Once I turn off the option, the tessellation works fine visually, though when you walk over the landscape, you see the material flickering beneath you.

Hi any news in this bug? Its 4.21 and bug still exists…thats a bummer.

Still exists in 4.22, it is a bummer indeed. No known way to have a crack-free landscape so far?
