Sequencer - Render Volume Fog Separately

Working on a film project and finalizing how it’s going to be rendered (all through Sequencer, nothing realtime)

Is there a way to essentially put a material override on everything that’s black, EXCEPT For volume fog?

Basically - I want to render out the volume fog separately from everything else so I can composite AO and Depth and Volume lights overtop of the beauty pass.

Creating render layers, sort of manually…

I have a post process shader for depth, but it looks to be overriding the volume lights.

Missing something obvious?
