Editor 4.18.3 suddenly Very slow

Hi,

I hope someone will be able to help. I have been running UE 4.18.3 for a while now without any problem (I`m on win 10pro). Suddenly starting yesterday, the editor quickly after opening (minutes) becomes very unresponsive. If I display the realtime stats we are looking at thousands of milliseconds. It becomes quitye impossible to work, even moving a node in the blueprint editor is a pain. I went through some of the posts and effectively closing tabs brings back the frame rate where it should however you can see that as soon as the mouse cursor is over the interface, the frame rate takes a dive.

It was working perfectly before and I have not installed anything so I can only think of some software that updated and now is messing up with it. If someone as an idea please fire up, it is very distressing.

So are you running an Nvida card? with geforce experience?

Yes, I have a 1070, i believe the Geforce experience is on by default. Though I had that setup since the very beginning with no issue before

Thanks

Well I know that the geforce overlay can cause massive frame issues in all areas of unreal. from personal experience, if that is not off, see to turning it off makes the difference. else try 4.19 or newer makes a difference.

Thanks GIGA-Money . I have turned it off and it did make a difference although I still notice some dips, I can work through it.
A guess is that the Geforce experience must have updated and triggered all this.

Thanks Jeff, I`ve saved the link for future use.
