Bug on ue4.19.2 on loading a uproject file?

Hello,
Since yesterday when I try to open a project I was working on, the project dont open anymore and I have the message :
“The name of the .uproject (’’) must match the name of the project passed in the command line”

The project is on a synology NAS. What is strange is if I copy the project on a local hard drive the project opens and works as it should.

I dont know if it is related but the only changes I made is that I have updated ue for 4.19.1 to 4.19.2.
(I was also setuping a Perforce server but I uninstall it and the problem is still the same.)

I have no idea what the problem could be. If someone can help me.
Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem with my projects stored on a synology nas.

Hi same problem here - any solution found?

my only solution is to have projects on local drive and not anymore on NAS. I thing it is sad because it was working perfectly before this update. I have talked to someone from Epic support that says that using it on a NAS is “considered outside the normal operating procedure of the Editor” so they have not much else to say.
Perhaps if a lot of people ask them they will make a fix.

Still having this problem as well, no fix or anyhting resolved?

Hi, i got same problem with 4.20 (didnt try older one).
Problem appears only if i use RamDisk (in my case it is problem both with DimmDrive and ImDisk)
I bought DimmDrive specifically in order to use it for my working project.
I tried several ways to load and till now i didnt find any solution.
I think developers need to look into it.

Thanks.

Who define what is “normal operating procedure”., its laughable!
I need functionality to load projects from NAS and RamDisks !!
It IS important and CRUSUAL for my project.

UPDATE - updating the firmware on my server fixed the problem.
