Github UE repository is not found

fatal: repository ‘https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine.git/’ not found
How to fix?

In order to view the repository you need to connect your UnrealEngine account with your GitHub account.

To do this, go to www.unrealengine.com and sign in, then up at the top right of the page hover your mouse over your account name and select the “Personal” tab. On the left side of the page that opens you should see a tab named “Connected Accounts”, click on it and then enter your Github user name (it is case sensitive) and save the page. You should get an email to let you know that you now have Github access.

So long as you are logged into Github with the same user name, you should now be able to go to that link without any issues.

Hope that helps!

I just did as you said, I still can’t access the repository. do I have to wait for a while or is this not working any longer?

solved it, sorry -.-’

I cant find the file UE4-Oculus.txt inside the repository

And how did you solved it?

In my case, (ubuntu 20) firefox >> it tries to connect with github, everything seems worked but page refresh after rotating loading wheel and still unable to connect… any ideas? huge thanks in advance

After completing the above process you’ll get an email titled “@EpicTeamAdmin has invited you to join the@EpicGames organization”. This is an invitation that will expire in 7 days. In this mail, you should click join @epicgames button. After that you can download UE4 source code. (So it’s private in GitHub and to be able to access the source code you should accept invitation mail after proper connection between Epic Games and GitHub)
