I work for a government organization and we want to use UE4 for immersive environment models for kids to learn about biodiversity, how can i get the license? and, is there any royalty payment to epic if the game is free?
can you help me understand the process to do this?
If it’s non profit I don’t believe you’d need any special licensing, just the standard $20/mo to develop with the engine. If you’re not making a profit off of the game, you don’t owe Epic any more than the monthly fee (which you can stop paying if you decide you don’t care about getting engine updates in the future).
