Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Issues with Blocking Volume - World Border

Issues with Blocking Volume - World Border

Hi Everyone!,

I Want some Help Regarding Blocking Volumes. i want to use them as "World Borders"

1-) First of all im having problems in correctly aligning the volume in my world. i have a volume which has the same size that i want but, copy pasting the same value doesnt make the blocking volumes perfectly sized like the other volume. maybe because of the shape (the other volume doesnt have a shape.).

2-) I Actually want my blocking volume to have a kind of animated texture.

The Way i want the border to be like ARK Survival Evolved.

Instead of a blocking volume, maybe use a Static Mesh "plane" instead. I don't know if blocking volumes are visible, but static meshes are normally visible and can have materials applied to them (including animated textures - I even had one playing a video) and can block things, AND can be transparent (not sure if transparent works with the video textures though).

I don't quite understand question #1, but if you use BSP or Static meshes then it might not be the same issue anyway.
