Procedural foliage and map LODs with Simplygon

Hi.
I’m trying to create a large forest with world composition and Procedural foliage tool with Simplygon.
I created a tiled map in World machine, exported it into the engine - Everything’s fine.
When I drop a single tree mesh into the level (by selecting the specific tile, and making it current), then I go to the
level details window, and generate an LOD for that tile, it works. The tree mesh is now part of the generated LOD landscape. This part works great.

What I’m trying to do is - I actually want to do the same thing with procedurally generated meshes. Instead of adding a whole bunch of trees manually one by one, I’d like to generate them using the procedural foliage tool and "bake " them into the landscape, just like the single mesh, as described above.

Is this even possible? Simply generating trees with the procedural foliage tool doesn’t work. They just don’t get included in the LOD. They only appear when I get close to that tile.

Any thoughts on this topic will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

ps. Let me know if you need more info.
