I purchased a subscription to UDK 4 this morning around 7am with my paypal account and I just recieved an email saying I was cancelled by Epic Games. I didn’t want to cancel and my money is gone, can I still download the program? The site is down and I can’t find any answers, no operators available via telephone either, I need this program for midterms.

Yeah, that seems to be related to this. I just saw that after posting here.
I’ve contacted everyone with no concrete answer yet. I believe it is related however my paypal reflects that I have indeed been canceled, it wasn’t just a farce email. I guess I have to wait to hear back from someone. This is upsetting.
Keep an eye on that thread provided. Epic is aware of it and you arent the only one having this issue so they’ll fix it eventually.

If you are a subscriber using Paypal, you should have received an email about the cancellation of a billing agreement sometime in the last few hours. After investigation, we found that this is due to an error that occurred during maintenance we are currently doing on the accounts section of our website. Unfortunately, the payment page with your paypal information was mistakenly cleared out, hence the email. This does not mean that the account has been canceled, though the billing information will need to be filled back out before the current month’s billing cycle has ended in order to continue subscription.
If you are one of the ones affected by this, please look out for a follow up email from us sometime very soon. We promise to make this up to you!
