I had installed the Epic Games Launcher a few days ago. I was playing fortnite and everything was working fine until the next day. When I started the launcher, it asked for administrator permissions and gives the error “The program has failed to launch error 0xc0000142”. Today I used windows compatibility checker program and it worked once. I finished playing and the next time I opened the launcher, it gave me the same error. I had tried using the windows compatibility checker again, but when The launcher starts up, it says “Error, We have ran into a problem” I tried everything but it just won’t work. I even tried uninstalling but that only uninstalled half way and leads me into an error. Eventually I tried installing it again, even when it failed to uninstall. Everything worked fine and it even updated the launcher, but after updating, it just crashes and gives me the error 0xc0000142. I just straight up deleted the Epic games folder, so if you guys have any thing to tell me then please go ahead. I’ll try reinstalling but incase anything happens I’ll let you know.
