Sequencer: long tracks with multiple audio cuts begin to skip during playback

I have audio inside of shots and a couple of timelines in level sequences, and when it proceeds from shot to shot the audio reliably skips the end of the shot by a small but obvious amount (when playing the timeline in sequencer editor it plays fine, only in PIE or Standalone it doesn’t). Seems like a bug to me.

Repro would be to make a timeline with a bunch of dialog takes and test the entire range’s fidelity. I don’t know if it matters, but my timelines vary between 15 and 45 minutes. I can supply a project if needed.

Has anyone who is doing animated shows or TV with Sequencer noticed this.
Note - I’m not placing audio in the master sequence’s audio track (only in Shots audio tracks).
