Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

line of Particles in PS are broken up when turning

I have made a laser beam with a particle system out of spherical shaped particles. I have not used the beamtype particle, but a GPU particle. I have the particle system attached to my character's eyeball bones, which are floating above it's body, and when the character's eyeballs move the particle beam moves along with it in a nice curved line. Really pretty.

However, any time any rotation happens, either by turning the whole character, or when an animation is played that rotates the eyeballs, this breaks up the laser beam into separate particles. How can I prevent this from happening?

edit when I set the initial velocity in the particle system manager to world space, the laser is never broken up, but it now always points in the same direction, no matter where my character turns.

I have provided a video example: https://youtu.be/yA1MzzhlsbE

edit This seems to only happen to this degree with velocity or acceleration applied on the particles. Without any particle movement, the line is never broken, no matter how ridiculous the movements are that my character makes.
