Playing the sidescroller template with no controls

Ive been working in UE4 v4.18 for some time. I decided to update the engine version and creating/opening a sidescroller template and the controls do not work. I have checked the input of the project settings. No keyboard/gamepad inputs are working. Previous versions of the engine have worked fine. Anyone have any suggestions? Same issue?

Hello,

I’m not seeing any issues with the SideScroller or 2D SideScroller templates.

I did notice that with the 2D SideScroller template: I needed to click inside the viewport after clicking PIE to set focus/allow inputs.
