Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Are there any Attraction Praticle tutorials?

I did some searching around and couldn't find any tutorials on how to properly use any of the Attractions/Attractors, such as gravity point ect. Anyone have any insight?

Hey TheOneWolf

I have passed on a request to our documentation team to try to update information on how to effectively use these modules, but in the meantime a good reference to begin is this page, https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Rendering/ParticleSystems/Reference/Modules/Attractor/index.html Another good discussion as well is found here on Polycount and while it is specific to a certain effect and project it does contain some good information about experimenting with the modules, http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89474

Thank You
