InputAction Released fires twice

press and hold Q - the string “Pressed” will be printed to the screen (as expected)

press and hold W - no string will be printed to the screen (as expected)

release Q - the string “Released” will be printed to the screen (as expected)

release W - the string “Released” will be printed to the screen (bug)

two years later, and the issue still exists. even worse, it got backlogged Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-59918) so it will probably never get fixed. why does epic games tolerate such an unreliable input system?
