Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Volume of Soundwaves Differ in Editor vs Build?

Hi

We're working on a game and I mixed all sound to a point I was satisfied. I didn't touch anything big apart from occasional tweaks to the volume of single sound cues. Then in the last few days, suddenly all the volume of sound has been terribly off. Some sound classes are super loud and clip terribly. It's not only the sound classes though, also the balance of sounds within a sound class is off. I had some nice wind ambience and some industrial machines in the background, now the industrial machines are super loud, although they are in the same sound class. So it's not only the sound class. There haven't been changes to the sound class in a long time, and also the particular sounds thart are now totally off balance I have not touched.

What could this be? Why is the volume in the editor set perfectly, but in the build it sounds terrible and is not at all what I can heaer in the editor? What settings are there that could do such a thing?

I have some stereo files for 2D ambiences, mono files for sounds and voice overs, so it's mixed and matched. Is there some weird setting that processes sounds during the build process?
