Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Google Daydream Transition to 2D, how to use it?

I'm trying to build a Cardboard/Daydream 360 viewer into and app that also has other, non-VR functions.

I've found the Transition to 2D node, and it instructs the user to remove the device from the headset but then the screen goes black and nothing else happens. There is a node called Transition back to VR so I assume it must be possible to have some kind of function in the 2D state but I'm not sure how to activate it.

The Transition to 2D node includes a reference for a "Google VRTranstion 2DCallback Proxy Object" but I don't know what that is or how I would use it.

Can I use this system to enable and disable the Cardboard/Daydream system? If not does anyone know a method that would allow me to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Bump! I would love an answer to this, as we are trying to transition from vr to 2D and back for a multi-purpose app.
