Maximum Path length exceeded

So I tried installing a update for the Hello, Neighbor! Mod-kit and I got the message in the image below, how do I specify a shorter install location.

Also why isn’t it working now, the same file path worked the last update, how is it suddenly too long?

It turns out an epic games shortened the Maximum file path, causing it to not be able to update, make a back up of all your stuff and uninstall and re-install the mod-kit/engine.
