Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Installing UE 4.19 ERROR IS-0003

Ive done some research and havent been able to find a solution for this, I hope Im not making a question that has already been answered.

Im trying to install UE4.19 on an External HDD (ExFAT, on a Macbook Pro), It downloaded fine until the point I have to press "Repair", to which it responds with an error saying it was unable to create the directory /Volumes/SAMSUNG/Epic Games/UE_4.19/.5mTMv . Same if I try to press "Verify".

Now, I figured Id try creating that folder manually, to which mac then replies saying it cant create a folder starting with a ".", as that is reserved for system directories.
That is also true for the internal macbook SSD, so I wouldn't bet on it working if I tried installing there(?)

Does anyone have an idea as to how to figure out this ting?
Good looking in advance.

Product Version: UE 4.19

Have a similar issue and it looks like ExFAT is the cause due to the permissions. On a Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume it works. Unity can be installed on ExFat.
