Trouble with animation retargeting

i’m trying to retarget an animation from the anim starter pack to the skeleton from the ue4tools addon for blender. it’s the same skeleton as the one in unreal i just added one bone but i checked that all the bones match in the retarget manager. the resulting animation have both arms cut in half almost, it looks really weird.

have anyone seen this before and know how to fix it? i would apreciate it

oopsy doopsy, had to change retargeting mode.

Make sure you leave root, pelvis and the ik bones on “Animation”. The rest should be “Skeleton”.
