Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Editor Crashes When Saving Texture / Layer Info **FIXED**

To the right of the names, there is an icon of a Plus Sign. Clicking on the Plus sign icon will bring up another menu that will ask what type of layer you would like to add. For this example, please pick the Weight-Blended Layer (normal) option.

When you select the Weight-Blended Layer (normal) option, you will be prompted with a pop-up box that is asking you where you want to save the newly created Landscape Layer Info Objects. Select the Resources folder that is under the Landscape folder and then press the OK button.

At this very point (During the save) the Editor crashes. The Editor Consumes all of my RAM an GrafikRAM

FIX: I added virtual memory to the SSD harddrive 2000-4000.

The editor is now Constantly using 11GB of RAM after that prozess (all RAM). (it uses 3,5GB usually)

FIX: Save map - SAVE LAYER INFO - Build (check for errors) - Save - RESTART.

over time (during landscape texure painting) the Editor consumes more and more RAM (7,5GB). Is this normal?
