Shader Compiling freezes Unreal Engine

So I just started to make a material, and I wanted to save. As soon as I change the blend mode to translucent, the compiling shaders message window pops up, and starts counting at least 86 to 128 shaders. I thought this may take a while, so I thought I’d save the Material, and let the engine do what it does, only to come back and find the numbers of shaders compiling has not changed. I can tell this was an issue because I usually get a message window from my AVAST program telling me about a certain operation being performed and asking me whether I want the process ignored or accepted. I would find out that it detected UE was doing this, and I’d tell the software to ignore the process, thus allowing the engine to finish the compiling processes. This time however, that didn’t happen, and that’s when I knew something was up. The engine recommends to edit a an already existing material, but even that results in the same thing.

I’ve looked up the situation in the community board for any solutions but they all seem to just be confused by the explanation of the situation, or just get a new computer. I want to assume maybe it’s the hardware? Because then I can do well with just replacing the CPU or GPU, but then it’d just be the same thing.

Long story short, I am having this problem and am wondering if I should, I will provide any additional information that is needed for help on this situation.

EDIT:
Okay so yesterday I did some research into my machine.
I will post the information on the events that occurred during the shader compiling process

I am not allowed to attach the DxDiag document due to certain privilege restrictions

So instead, I will upload a record of the performance of the hardware during this issue from the taskbar.

Run Task Manager and see Details tab ans see in ShaderWorkers doing anything. Low-range CPU might be the cause as shader compiling is very CPU heavy

Thank you! This does give some insight into the issue! I’ve actually left it alone for some days and it seems to be working fine now! Quite bizarre, but can’t complain I suppose; Thnx again!
