Having problem with swarm agent networking

I’m trying to setup swarm network rendering, but i can’t seem to get the remote computer to “accept” the job.

Here is what the cordinator looks like

What the swarm agent looks like during rendering

What my settings are

Your settings look good, and your coordinator finds the two machines, which is great.

Can you try checking the ‘Avoid Local Execution’ box and see if it pushes out the job?

Thanks for the answer, i tried it and got this result.

I have exactly the same situation! It was running for a few minutes, but when i have tried to add a third machine, everything was ruined and show up exact as by sumsar. Now i give up and wait for the fix. Hope that epic would release a patch asap…

Hey sumsar, sorry for the delay - I just got back from travel. Is there anything in the output log of the agent that is failing to execute jobs? Try turning on verbose logging on that machine.

I think i found the problem if you look at this, there is a rejected error message on my remote computer. I also took a picture what it looked like on the other computer link.

Quick sanity check: are both agents part of the same agent group, i.e. WinterStorm?

Yeah, else i don’t think it would show up in swarm when i’m trying to build.

Hmm… i’m afraid i’m clueless on this one. Do you perhaps have some personal firewall software running that may block certain traffic?

Also, one thing to consider is that Swarm will only farm out work for sufficiently large jobs. You could try building a larger level from one of the sample games with Production quality lighting and see if that makes a difference.
