Why do my static lights turn white after I build lighting?

Hi guys,

So I’ve had this issue for the past month or so and I just can’t, for the life of me, figure it out.

I currently have lights attached to actors, in this case, the lava static mesh. I want it to glow efficiently so I’ve added lots of static lights and I love the way it looks before building lighting. The bright orange light is in all the right areas.

But when I build lighting, my lights turn white.

I’m using UE4.19.

Would really appreciate any help I can get.

Alright so after several weeks of on and off testing and fiddling, it looks like the only way to temporarily solve this is to change all my lights’ Mobility to either: Stationary or Moveable. NOT Static. For some reason, Static lights changed to white whilst Stationary and Moveable did not.

This probably will hurt performance but its the only thing I could come up with and I’ve given up. :frowning:
