Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

RenderDocPlugin - "no RenderDoc libray has been located"

Hi all - I'm running Unreal Engine compiled from source (version 4.19.2 on VS2017).

After some trouble with iTunes installation and whatnot I started to get the following error when trying to package: "UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): LogInit: Display: RenderDocPlugin: Error: unable to initialize the plugin because no RenderDoc libray has been located."

I have no idea how to go about sorting this. Any ideas?

Best, Ale

We have the same issue with 4.19.2.... Works fine in editor etc but packaging the project fails.

I had this issue once when I had activated the RenderDoc plugin by accident. Check if the RenderDoc Plugin is enabled, and if it is, disable it, restart the editor, and try packaging again.

That's exactly right - eventually I figured out that was the culprit
