Importing Images in real time?

Hello my name is Jeffrey Eldridge and I’m trying to make a small visual gallery based game, What it is that I’m trying to do is import custom textures with their size diameters and have ue4 automatically apply it to a custom canvas as a material.

My idea behind this is that I’m wanting to have a blank gallery room while having the player walking around in it.
The player has the option to create custom canvas from a select few models.
After placing the canvas on the wall, the player will be able to adjust the position, rotation, and scale of the canvas.
Once that’s done the player will be able to browse for an image on their computer to then be applied to the canvas.

I’m wanting it to be a build’em up sorta game. The player will start out in a small gallery room with basic canvases, and as people “NPC’s” view the gallery; you’ll raise money to then better your gallery by purchasing new canvases and eventually a new gallery room while keeping all earned resources.

If somebody could help me with the logic behind importing custom images in real time that would be awesome.

Thank you for reviewing this post

Here is an example of what I’m wanting to do.

This is a basic example of what I’m looking for.
