  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Unreal Dev Grant remaining funds and submission

I've recently begun working on a game to submit to the Unreal Dev Grant and wanted to ask:

  1. Is there anyway to find out how much of the dev grant funds remain? I've looked and haven't found any information on this and knowing the state of the funds might help myself and others looking to work with a deadline in mind.

  2. Are there designated times (ie: quarterly, yearly, etc) that submissions come under review for the grant or an ideal time to submit?

Thanks for your help!

1 answer: sort voted first

Hey there,

There's still plenty of funds left in the program, and we anticipate it will be around for a while longer. We don't have a formalized cadence for releases but instead regularly review projects and award throughout the year (sometimes without announces due to NDAs and such) Because of this, it's difficult to say explicitly how much longer the fund will be available. Do you have an idea of what your development cycle is (months, years, etc.)?

If I'm being realistic, it will most likely be 4 - 5 months time before I'd feel confident applying.

That should be just fine!
