UMG Sequence Editing Paramaters of a Child Widget

I have recently discovered the ability for UMG Sequences to edit parameters of materials of Images, Text objects, and other types of components in the widget, but I cannot find any documentation on how to edit the parameters of Widget components inside a Widget. Example:

In a main menu, a game logo animates in by manipulating parameters of its material using the Sequencer (Track → Materials → Brush).

That same main menu contains several custom-made Button widget classes. Those custom Button classes also have images for the background of the button with the same animated material parameters, but the Sequencer does not show any of the child widget’s components or available parameters. It only shows the properties that are available to all components, such as Transform and Render Opacity. If I was in the Sequencer for the custom Button class itself, that image’s material parameters can be edited at will using the same method (Track → Materials → Brush).

Is there a method for editing the parameters of the child widget’s components?
