Cloth goes through skin

Im using clothing tools and my cloth goes through other parts of my skeletal mesh, how do i prevent this?

I have also checked collide with environment etc, doesnt work.

Some things you could try:

  • Setting up a Physics asset for the skeleton and setting it as the Physics asset for the cloth asset you created.
  • Making sure that the cloth is rigged to the relevant bones, and utilising the Max Distance mask to only allow the clothed area to move within a certain range of its animated position. For more information see Clothing Tool Overview under the Masks section.
  • If all else fails, you could try the old method of setting up the cloth beforehand in your DCC application and importing it to the character.

Perhaps providing a picture could help in determining an more precise solution.
