I can't drag and drop 3d animation on to content browser

I have an animation I downloaded that I can’t drag and drop on to the content browser. I’m looking at video tutorials that seem to drag and drop fine but it shows a blocked icon when my cursor is over the browser. any ideas why?

Did you get the animation from the tutorials or from somewhere else? If it’s from somewhere else it’s possible that the animation is not in a file format supported by UE you would most likely want it to be FBX file.
