For 4.10 How can I create a dynamic day/night system for a survival game that has indirect lighting?

I’ve been all over te docs, other questions, wikis and video tutorials. But I can’t find a way to make my directional light actor movable whilst having indirect lighting. The shadow are completely black and there is no auto exposure. Night time is completely black. Please help me out on this. Screenshots are preferred please. I want to make a simple game but this is realy bothering me and holding me back.

simplest way is to add a Sky Light which fills in that shadows with ambient light. But I think you want sonething more detailed than that. try it though and also try controlling its lower hemisphere and see if it helps.
