Materials/Textures in Ue4 to blender

I am trying to help a friend out with a game that he’s making and he paid someone to make a level in ue4 for him. The way that the game was originally was that there was gonna be a game made in clickteam using my version of the level and one in ue4 using the other guy’s level, but that has since been scrapped, however the map that was made in ue4 looks extremely good and I would like to import it in blender, but when I do all the textures/materials are missing. Is there any why that I could export it into blender with how it looks in ue4 or will I just have to redo everything involving the textures/materials in blender.

As far as I know, the built-in FBX exporter doesn’t do textures. However, one good thing is that you can export the whole level by right-clicking on the Map asset and “export”, the way you just described.

I think the best way for you to proceed is to Bulk Export all textures and manually load them into Blender. I don’t know how big is your level but that is one approach to tackle this problem.

To bulk export your textures, select all of them in the Content Brower, right click and select Bulk Export.
