How to reference a specific x,y in a texture for material use?

I have a texture in my material that I want to specify using world location and math what pixel in a TextureSampleParameter2D to use as color/opacity. how do I do this?

can you maybe rephrase your question, because I don’t really get what you’re trying to achieve. Sorry about that.

If you mean Planar Mapping, you can use the masked vertex’ world location as an mapping input to the sampler. The nodes I’m referring to are called ‘World Position’ and ‘Component Mask’ respectively. Simply plug them together and the use them as the ‘UV’ input for the sampler.
