Since it’s a c++ project, you can go to the project directory, and open up the visual studio solution. Then compile by right clicking on the solution, then hitting “Build”. It’ll pop up with errors and you can debug from there.

By adding a c++ asset, it turns it into a c++ project. The solution file should be there. If not, right click the .uproject file and click “Generate Visual Studio Project Files”
