MorphTargets Project broken

Hey there,

When I try to open the MorphTargets Project, Rocket crashes.

I’m able to see the scene behind the crash dialog:

and when I open the log file, I do see an interesting line:

[0006.38] LogModuleManager:Warning: ModuleManager: Unable to load module ‘RocketEditor-MorphTargets.dll’ because file was not found (or couldn’t be loaded by the OS.)

if needed I can post the full log, just didn’t want to clog this post

I didn’t have time to try this until now. I can confirm the MorphTargets project works for me in the latest beta.

Hi Oscar, I have not been able to reproduce this yet. Please go ahead and share your complete log (you can include the text file as an attachment to your message), and also please let us know your system specs in regards to operating system and graphics card. Thanks.

ah, I thought that error would be it.

here it goes:

specs:

  • AMD FX 8150 3.6GHz
  • geforce 560Ti
  • Windows 8

Thank you. Also, where have you placed the MorphTargets folder in relation to where Rocket is installed? And how are you launching into the MorphTargets project?

Rocket is installed on C:\Apps\Dev\Rocket, and I’ve tried opening the project located at D:\Projects\Games\Elium\Tools\UE4\Projects\MorphTargets (where all my other Projects are located, and work properly), and also tried at C:\Apps\Dev\Rocket\MorphTargets

to launch the project I open Rocket and in the menu I select Switch Project, and choose the MorphTargets.uproject file at the mentioned path

just to clarify, both paths I tried include all subdirectories with the same file and folder structure as extracted from the rar file

That should all be fine. And just to clarify, you are not running Windows 8 on a Mac are you?

no, not at all. it’s a PC.

not that there is any Mac with an AMD processor

Two possible things you could try to resolve the issue are deleting the config files located in the MorphTargets folder under Saved/Config/Windows, and then loading the project. Or if all else fails, you could attempt uninstalling Rocket and the Morph Targets project and then reinstalling both.
