problems after build light

Hi I’m new using unreal and I try to make a house but, I have problem after build light with maybe uv maps(I’m not sure) . I not have much money so I downloaded several free fbx specifically beds, on 3d max I do an unwrap and check de uvmaps with checketPattern, everything at the moment looks good. In unreal before build lights the mesh looks good with materials but the problen come after build lights the material is deformed with several black spots. that happened to me with all the fbx.

If anyone knows what its the problem, I would appreciate it

It happens with “free” assets from web, because from my experience, most of are free because not finished or just broken. You can try rebuild it in 3d software and import again. As I remember, last update 4.20.1 have fix for fbx import (maybe I’m wrong). Last tip - on import stage try generate normals and tangents instead of import. Generally mesh should be good prepared, what happens very rarely with free assets.
