Try rebuilding from the source manually
I was working in ue4 paper2d and as I was saving up and closing out my editor I remembered something I needed to add, so I reopened my unreal engine to meet an incredibly infuriating message: "Missing (game name) Modules" - " The following modules are missing or built with a different version: "UE4-(game name).dll - Would you like to rebuild them now?"
Clicking yes quickly opens a progress bar that immediately closes and comes up with an error:
"Gamename could not be compiled. Try rebuilding source manually."
I don't know if this requires any VisualStudio code but my programming knowledge only goes as far as the nodes inside the editor, I can't even access the gamenames editor to see what went wrong, i'm completely locked out of the file and it's quite frustrating since it's quite a successful game and it's my only version/copy of it, i'm terribly afraid of losing an immense amount of progress, i'm in need of a quick response I'll be truly grateful to anyone that can help me out,
