Duplicating spawnables in sequencer removes them

So I use UE more like a “render engine” for my animations/short-films and spawnables in Sequencer is a great feature for me. But sometimes if there is a lot of stuff happening in the background of my animations, for background characters/extras I use the same character with the same animation and when I’m lazy I just duplicate the spawnable rather than import a new same character and assign it the same animation, but that makes them disappear when I relaunch UE. Happens in 4.19 as well as 4.20.

Specifically what happens is, when I duplicate a spawnable in Sequencer, then I save, exit UE, then I launch it again, the duplicated spawnable shows up in red in the sequencer and it shows only the name, the actual properties/character is not there. I can convert it to “possessable” and then back to “spawnable” and then the character comes back, but with default Transform of 0.0.0 and no animation assigned.

This is a bug. You can track the issue here (once it becomes visible):
