4.20 Oculus Rift weird screen issues

Whenever I do a VR Preview with the Oculus Rift in 4.20 I get a very strange screen effect in the shadows. It even stays when I get out of VR preview. It seems to effect the view of items in my content folder. The BP pickup cube in the content folder looks like is has the same weird little squares. It even shows up in the project thumbnail after exiting. This happens even on brand new projects too.

I am not having the same issue with 4.18 or 4.19

I have no problems with any of these version on the Vive.

I am using an AMD RX580 8gb graphics card. I’m thinking 4.20 may have made a change that the AMD card doesn’t work well with. I am using the most recent drivers and even tried rolling back a version to see if that helps.

Does anyone know what it could be or if there is a work around?

Edit: I changed the title of question “4.20 Oculus Rift Weird issues with shadows” because it really doesn’t have anything to do with the shadows its just that the issue shows up most there.

It looks like 4.20 has made a change to using a newer Oculus SDK. I’m still not sure if this is bug that Epic needs to work out in future releases or if there is a setting adjustment I need to make to fix it.

Is there anyone with an Oculus Rift and AMD Radeon graphics card that is having the same issue or is it just me?

I’ve been reading about needing to match the Oculus runtime with the version of UE4. I’m still not sure how to do that. Any help?

Here is a video of what is happening. I noticed that the glitch persists even after leaving VR Preview.
