I have been approached to write an AR application for a client on iOS and Android very similar in style to the "IKEA Place" application.
The user will be able to view objects in a real world scenario and then be able to add them to a shopping basket on the clients eCommerce website. All transactions will take place on the clients website, and all the app is doing is acting as a conduit to the website.
My question therefore is, how do the royalty fees come into play? The application is free, will have no ads and no IAP's but can link to an eCommerce site.
Would Epic be expecting to receive 5% of gross sales of objects added to a basket via the application but then purchased on a separate website? How could this be monitored?
I would appreciate any information that could be given, as this obviously affects which engine I choose to develop the application.
Thanks in advance,

There are no royalties on sales for unrelated physical or digital goods made through the Product (i.e., sales that don't grant the user access to the Product or benefits related to the Product).
