Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Help with animation retargeting

Hey there guys, I have been using unreal engine for a couple weeks now and have run into some problems with animation retargeting. I have some animations from mixamo that I have in unreal for a character and they work fine with him. However, when I retarget them to a new character, everything goes good besides the fingers. I've included a picture of what the hands look like currently. I believe this is due to them both having 4 finger joints instead of the 3 that are available when using the humanoid rig. I have tried using the "Recursively Set Translation Retargeting Skeleton" For both skeletons, then doing the retarget again, but this does nothing. Any suggestions?

I am using unreal 4.20.1 on MacOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. Thanks in advance! alt text
