Sphere rolling collision issues on flat mesh after upgrade

Something in the engine has changed somewhere when upgrading from 4.19 to 4.20. It might be an engine code thing or something else entirely. Not sure if it should be considered a bug.

It’s a game breaker for me and I’m not sure how to fix it. My only option right now is to stay in 4.19 where the issue does not reside.

Issue:
CCD is turned on for a perfect sphere (UE sphere with UE sphere collision) and it is classified as a physics actor. When the sphere rolls passed an edge of a perfectly flat mesh it often skips upward or stops entirely after hitting an invisible wall.

I want to reiterate that this issue was not occurring in 4.19 and the spheres and meshes seem to all have the same settings as before.

We are having the same issue. Would be nice to hear what is causing this.

Are the ends of your mesh capped or uncapped?
