Calculate Direction node forcing 90 every other frame

Is this a common problem or a new problem?

I’ve followed 5-6 tutorials on getting the direction for a 2D blendspace, which is ultimately calling Calculate Direction in the AnimBP event graph. However, it seems like its forcing a value of 90 in between each frame when I’m moving, which I’m assuming is the reason the left right and back anims aren’t being played from the blendspace.

Anyone know the fix for this or have run into this before?
