I’m using ue4 as a render in place of vray. So I don’t care about performance.
Overall I am very happy with the look ue4 shows me, but in order to light my scene correctly I used several point lights. The only part that bothers me is at the edge of the screen things get dark because ue4 only renders in-screen reflections.
I added a skylight and that helped a little, but if I turn it up too much it washes out the point lights.
Is there a way to add global illumination to point lights when rendering? Would planar reflections help with this?
