Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How do I create LODs for animated character UE4.20??

How do I create LODs for an animated character in UE4.20 now that Simplygon is not integrated in this version? I know that there is a proxy geometry feature in the latest version of UE4 but this is only for static meshes. I went to the Simplygon website but there are only .zip files for Simplygon and there are no longer .exe files. Also I dont know how to install the zip file content to work with UE4.20 I dont know if it is even compatible anymore. Can someone tell me if it is even possible anymore to create LODs within UE4 latest version without going to a different third party 3D software?

I want to know this as well. Been working on a project that really needs LODs for its skeletal meshes.
