Making motion graphic HUD inside VR helmet

I am trying to make a heads up display effect inside a space helmet that my VR character uses, similar to Iron Man. I know how to make motion graphics for film using AE and Nuke, but I’ve never done it for a game inside UE4, or if it’s something I need to import as a 2d sprite or whatever. The sprite method however can only be used on a flat surface, not a curved visor. Most HUD tutorials I’ve seen are for buttons and menu items. Anyone have ideas?
