how to let the Cursor hover the button???

Hello,
My topdown game has a little little problem.
I want to add the name of the item, when the cursor is over the item.
The item is a button in a widget. Everything works ,but when i hover the cursor over the item i cant see the name.
Before i can see it i have to click anywhere. It works then the completly time. This isnt a big problem but would nice to fix it.
