Project crash on start up

Hello. I keep getting a crash report every time I load my project. No other projects crash upon launch. In the directory for the crash I get this error every time:

0]LogEngine: Initializing Engine…
0]LogHMD: Failed to initialize OpenVR with code 108
0]LogUObjectGlobals:Warning: Failed to find object ‘Material None.’
0]LogWindows: Windows GetLastError: The operation completed successfully. (0)

Last night I ran into this issue and have tried to find some fixes (primarily here : https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/116907/failed-to-find-object-class-none.html ), however since I can not even get into the project there is little I can do in some of the solutions provided at the links I visited.

Before this problem presented itself i was changing some settings pertaining to lighting, specifically in cascade shadow maps (I set stationary to 1500 or 15000, I am not sure on the exact number).

A separate but possibly related issue was the in ability for me to save a level, an error popped up saying that the level could not save properly. I usually disregard this because I just have a test map that I do not care about but the error may be related (note that the level failed to save error has been happening for a while).

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to open a copy of the project in 4.20.1 just as an experiment. I will report if it had any effect (although I do not expect it to).

So after I updated from 4.16.3 to 4.20.1 the issue was entirely resolved. I have no clue why, but hey guess today is the day I don’t loose 2 weeks worth of work
