Unreal Engine 4.20 Editor Not Launching on Mac

Hi! I’ll keep this short and simple. I installed the latest version of Unreal Engine through the Epic Games Launcher on my Mac this morning. When I click launch engine, nothing happens. I installed an older version, 4.19 and it launched fine. Is there a workaround to this? Thanks!

(Keep in mind, the Epic Games Launcher works, it’s only trying to launch Unreal Engine at all is where I have the issue, I can’t even get to the selecting the project page)

Now the 4.20.3 and I was on same problem on Mac. Just launched Check and it has installed something, and now editor runs initialization. But it stucks on 35%. But in background it runs some shader processes.

I am having this exact problem as well. 4.20.3 launches, gets stuck at 35% and then eventually crashes. I’m running on a mac pro with macOS 10.13.6

I uninstalled and reinstalled 4.20.3 and still have the same problem. 4.21 and 4.19.2 both open fine but that doesn’t help me at the moment with my 4.20 project.

Not really an answer but also have the same issue and its Oct 2020.
Have a Mac Pro, takes too long to start, MY PROJECTS don’t show.
Using same on a work PC/ Windows 10 which is flaunt with issues and it works like a charm.
Have tried apps to remove entirely anything to do with Unreal and re-installed with same issue.
This is happening to UE 4.25.
I have XCode installed also with no change, concur that the in the background it is running a process which really slows the launch down. Trying to compile something.
The MAC Pro I have is no slouch, Foundry Modo runs fast along with all the Adobe suite, Final cut pro etc…
Wow some issue. Can we please get a response on this.
I can’t use Unreal for a project at all.
